Information on House Appropriations Committee meetings can be found here. All meetings are open to the public. Please note that during Session, the current weekly meeting schedule is also posted on the home page for easy reference.
All Committee meeting agendas and presentations, if available in electronic format, will be posted as soon as possible. Unless otherwise noted, documents are available on this website in Adobe Acrobat "portable document format" (PDF) which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print. Please be advised that all agendas, meeting dates, times and locations are subject to change with out notice.
Unless otherwise noted, all interim full committee meetings begin at 9:30 a.m. and are held in the Appropriations Room on the 9th Floor of the General Assembly Building.
The August and December meetings are held jointly with the House Finance and Senate Finance Committees in House Room D in the General Assembly Building. Download our 2011 Interim Committee Meeting Schedule.
On August 8th, Chairman Lacey Putney sent a memo to all members of the House of Delegates which included an analysis of the Fiscal Year 2011 general fund revenue collections and a preliminary look at the 2012-14 biennial budget that was prepared by the staff of the House Appropriations Committee.

Appropriations Committee Retreat
The Appropriations Committee of the Virginia House of Delegates will hold a two-day retreat in Staunton at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center which is located at 24 South Market Street, Staunton, VA 24401. The meetings will be held in Salon A & B. Click here for a map & directions.
The retreat will include several presentations by Committee staff and outside experts including the economic and budget outlook of the Commonwealth for the 2012 Session; higher education planning; public education rebenchmarking; inmate reentry programs; Medicaid spending and health care reform.
