Zachary L. Robbins

Zack is a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee and has been in this position since January 2020. He is currently responsible for providing staff support for the Elementary & Secondary Education subcommittee.

Prior to joining the House Appropriations Committee staff, Zack has served in state and local government policy roles for twenty years, most recently as Policy Director at the Virginia Department of Education.  His other prior experience includes serving as the staff director to the Commission on Local Government, and roles in land use planning for Chesterfield County and the Town of Ashland.  Zack holds a Bachelors of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University.
