Anne E. Oman
			Anne has been on the Committee Staff since 2002 and became Staff 
			Director in January 2020.  As Director of the House Appropriations 
			Committee staff, she is responsible for a full-time professional 
			staff with responsibility for developing in-depth financial, 
			budgetary and policy recommendations on issues involving the state’s 
			biennial budget.  In addition to the state budget, the Committee 
			also has jurisdiction over debt related issues and legislation 
			involving the Virginia Retirement System.   
			
			Over her tenure as a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee 
			she has had oversight for policy and budgetary activities related to 
			the areas of Transportation, Agriculture & Forestry, Economic 
			Development, General Government, and Natural Resources.  In 
			addition, Anne has been responsible for tracking state revenues and 
			tax policy legislation for the Committee. 
			
			Prior to joining the Appropriations Committee Staff, Anne served as 
			a principal research analyst for the Joint Legislative Audit and 
			Review Commission.  Other posts she has held during her years of service to the Commonwealth of Virginia include positions 
			with the Virginia Department of Transportation where she spent 8 
			years in the Divisions of Policy Analysis and later in Financial 
			Planning and Debt Management.  
			
			Anne holds a Bachelor's degree in American Government from the 
			University of Virginia and a Master’s degree in public policy from 
			Kent State University and is a native of Northern Virginia.
