Susan is a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee and has been in this position since 1996. She is currently responsible for providing staff support for the Health and Human Resources Subcommittee on budget issues concerning health care; social services; mental health, behavioral health and developmental services; disability services; and aging services.
Prior to joining the Appropriations Committee Staff, Susan worked for the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) from 1984 to 1996. She served as a project leader at JLARC from 1986 to 1996, directing a number of studies involving state health care and social services programs. Susan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Seattle University and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University.
