Anthony A. "Tony" Maggio
Tony is a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee and has been in this position since 2001. He is currently responsible for providing staff support for the area of Higher Education.
Prior to joining the Appropriations Committee Staff, Tony worked in the higher education community for 12 years as a budget manager at Virginia Commonwealth University, as a finance coordinator at the State Council of Higher Education and as a capital outlay coordinator in the Virginia Community College System. In addition to his work in state government, Tony served six years in the U. S. Army as a Finance Officer. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration.
