Michael R. Jay
Michael is a legislative fiscal analyst for the Committee and has been in this position since October, 2006. He is currently responsible for providing staff support for the areas of Compensation and Retirement, Transportation and Administration (DHRM).
Prior to joining the Appropriations Committee Staff, Michael worked for the Department of Medical Assistance Services for 14 years, serving as the Budget Director for the eight of those years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Radford University and a Master’s degree in Economics from Old Dominion University.
